Nothin Fancy is a 1988 Wellcraft Coastal, with an overall length of 29 feet and a beam of 10 feet. This heavy boat handles the big water with the best of them. Equipped with twin Mercruiser 350's Nothin Fancy cruises at 25 knots. This makes for a quick comfortable ride to the canyons or offshore wrecks. When it comes to electronics this boat has everything to make sure they put you on the fish. Captain Jed Messinger, has been working full time as a fishing guide on Chincoteague Island for 7 years. Fishing both inshore ans offshore has been a passion of his since he was young. From cast netting "silversides" to Trolling for Marlin Captain Jed has done it. Hes caught almost every type of fish that inhabits The Mid-Atlantic region. When the fish arent biting Jed will keep you busy by telling "dad jokes", telling you about the local area, and harassing the mate for your pleasure.
